Chucky Season 2

Fiona Dourif will reprise her role as Nica Pierce in Chucky Season 2. Nica, portrayed by Dourif, originally appeared in Curse of Chucky as a young paraplegic woman accused of the doll’s acts, then reappeared in Cult of Chucky only to be possessed by the killer and escape with Tiffany, played by Jennifer Tilly.

Chucky Season 2: Watch out for Nica Pearce

Don Mancini, the show’s creator, stated on Twitter that Dourif would return for Season two of Chucky. “NICA HAS LANDED,” reads the caption on a shot of the two in what seems to be a backstage scene. Nica’s fight to retake control of her body, as well as her relationship with Tiffany, was followed in the television series, which premiered shortly after the events of the 2017 edition. Tiffany sedated Nica and surgically removed her arms and legs so Chucky wouldn’t attack her for trying to save her. Many fans of the franchise believed that this incident violated Nica’s character, who they believed had already gone through enough. Given how her story ended, people questioned whether she would ever return.

Chucky Season 2 release date

Chucky Season 2 is likely to release in late September or early October 2022, just in time for Halloween, despite the lack of official premiere date. According to The Wrap, filming for the second season has already begun. For Chucky Season 2, Dourif isn’t the only returning cast member. Season 2 has already seen the addition of Tilly and Devon Sawa. Despite the fact that his characters, twins Lucas and Logan Wheeler, perished in Season 1, Sawa stated that he will have a new role this season, but no specifics were provided. Filming might begin in April, according to the actor. After Nica’s fate in the Season 1 finale, fans can only hope for the best.
