Virgin River Season 4: Mel Monroe may not know who her baby’s father is, but we do know when Virgin River will return to Netflix for its fourth season.
The second chapter in the small-town drama series will premiere on Wednesday, July 20th, with 12 hourlong episodes, and we’ve got a bunch of first-look photographs to keep you entertained until then.
We also have the official logline for the season, which is full of spoilers: “Mel enters Season 4 with a sense of optimism, despite not knowing if the baby belongs to her departed husband, Mark, or Jack. She’s wanted to be a mother for years, and now she’s one step closer to realising her goal.”
“While Jack is enthusiastic and supportive, the issue of paternity continues to gnaw at him,” the article says. “Complicating matters is the appearance of a dashing new doctor who is looking to start his own family.”
On the Hope front, there’s also some positive news. Season 3 finished with Doc’s sweetheart on the verge of death after a car accident, as you may recall. While we’re glad she’s alive, “the enduring psychological impact of her brain injury will have enormous consequences for both her and Doc,” according to the article.
Meanwhile, Brie is “dedicated to proving the innocence of the guy she loves” (as Brady), but she “unexpectedly finds herself closer to Mike and one step closer to Calvin’s vicious criminal web.”
Preacher, meanwhile, “can’t help but hold out hope for being reunited with Christopher and Paige” as he “forges a new romantic bond.” (Forget about Paige.) We’re curious about her terrifying ex-boyfriend who broke into Preacher’s home!)
More romance is in the air as the Virgin River returns!
Netflix announced on Wednesday that season 4 of the popular drama series based on Robyn Carr’s romance Virgin River novels will premiere on July 20.
The next season will follow returning character Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) as she tries to figure out whether her baby belongs to her murdered husband Mark (Daniel Gillies) or her newfound boyfriend Jack (Martin Henderson).
