Good Sam TV show stars Sophia Bush, Jason Isaacs, Skye P. Marshall, Michael Stahl-David, Omar Maskati, Davi Santos, Wendy Crewson, and Edwin Hodge.

The show at Lakeshore Sentinel Hospital won’t go on into the 2022-23 TV season. CBS has dropped Good Sam, finishing any expectations of a second season on the network.

The series, which stars Sophia Bush and Jason Isaacs, was launched on January 5, replacing the ten-episode series CSI: Vegas. It never gained traction with watchers and finished its run as CBS’ lowest-rated series of the season.

The series, which debuted in January, followed Sam (played by Bush), a genius heart specialist who took on the position of authority as the chief of surgery after her boss Griff (Jason Isaacs), a famous doctor who likewise turned out to be her father, fell into a coma.

Their laden relationship was the highlight of the show, particularly when Griff woke up months after the latter requested to continue his duties.

Series Creator Katie Wech Addressed The News Via Social Media

Though series star Sophia Bush has yet to publicly express anything about the cancellation news, Good Sam maker Katie Wech took to Instagram to share how mind-blowing of an experience making the show was.

“When it all started began back in 2019, Sophia Bush and I rambled about how we believed the show should be. Not the actual show, but rather the experience of making it. We contemplated whether we could remake the messed up feeling many individuals have, writers, cast, crew… after seasons spent dealing with s- – – ty shows or for s- – – ty showrunners,” she wrote.

“We guaranteed each other that we’d make a decent show, where individuals took care of one another,” she proceeded.

“We did indeed “Furthermore, that. Individuals weren’t only great to one another. They LOVED one another. We made this nuclear love bomb. Also, expressing farewell to that damages, indeed, I want to continue to make Good Sam.
