Grantchester Season 7: PBS Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Plot

Grantchester is getting back to screens for an exceptionally anticipated Season 7 after an extremely successful 6th season. The PBS Masterpiece series is a British show that follows the lives of Grantchester town villagers, explicitly Inspector Geordie Keating and the local vicar who cooperate to research and solve crimes in the neighbourhood.

The show initially featured Robson Green as Inspector Keating and James Norton as Reverend Sidney Chambers, yet since Season 4, fans have watched Keating collaborate with Reverend Will Davenport, played by Tom Brittney.

Grantchester is scheduled to get back to PBS this July with Season 7 as Robson Green’s DI Geordie Keating and Tom Brittney’s Reverend Will Davenport join forces to solve a series of new charming homicide cases. The mystery drama series is inspired by James Runcie’s fictional novel series named Grantchester Mysteries, which will have its seventh season set in 1959, not long before the swinging sixties take off.

Grantchester Release Date And Trailer

The first of six Grantchester Season 7 episodes aired on Sunday 10 July at 9 p.m. ET on PBS Masterpiece. The new episodes will then, at that point, follow week by week. The leftover episodes of the 6-episode long season will air sequentially consistently until the finale, which is booked for August.
