Netflix Series Sonic Prime 2022 Release Date, logo, and Plot

Netflix Sonic Prime: The series Sonic the Hedgehog is due to get a brand new 3D animated series on Netflix. Sonic the Hedgehog is so far having a massive year, with an all-new film and two upcoming games.

Additionally, to all that, the speedy blue hedgehog is getting a completely new 3D animated Netflix series. The series looks like Eggman is in the Sonic Prime Netflix series.

Netflix is keeping up to spill small features out for Sonic Prime, the animated Sonic series coming soon over at Netflix. Following a leak out of Netflix itself, the streaming service soon confirmed the series and it just formalized everything with a rather wide release date.

And all the images are the first look at Netflix’s version of Sonic is unmissable.

It’s perplexing if this series will be tied in any way to the latest Sonic the Hedgehog series. Moreover, likely something family-friendly that’s also going to be applauded by the fans.

Netflix’s Sonic Prime declaration announced rumours that the kid-friendly WildBrain which owns belongings involving Teletubbies, Degrassi, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Man Of Action Entertainment (Ben 10, Big Hero 6) is connected to the project. 

Sonic Prime Release Date

Netflix announced the Sonic Prime 2022 release date it coincidentally revealed last December. A while back, the movie didn’t have a title. 

An official press release from WildBrain disclosed Sonic Prime will have a 24 episodes to run. Doubtlessly as to whether or not it’s an independent project or if Netflix will serve a second season.

The Sonic Prime logo, which Netflix leaked out on Twitter. The gold of Sonic’s name looks exhausted, which makes us amazed about the reputation of his golden rings, and the word Prime looks like a blue blur which is something we usually expect from Sonic.

Sonic Prime Plot

According to the press release, we’re going to be hopping across time and space in the series.

Sonic Prime is going to be a “high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new alternate reality rests in his gloved hands. Sonic’s adventure is more than a race to save the universe, it’s a journey of self-discovery and redemption.”

Sonic’s expedition which was unveiled on the Sonic Central May 27 stream, will occur in the “strange and mysterious Shatterverse.”

The show is being placed toward Sonic fans of all ages, but the press release records that “Sonic Prime aims to captivate the imaginations of audiences ages six to 11.”
