Pachinko Season 2 Is Officially Confirmed: Expected Plot and Release date

Pachinko season 2 is just around the corner at Apple TV+ as the streamer officially renews the dramatic historical fiction series from creator Soo Hugh. Apple TV+ renews its capacious applauded historical-fiction drama series Pachinko for season 2.

The transformation is based on Min Jin Lee’s best-selling novel of the same name that plunges into the story of a Korean immigrant family, crossing four generations, along with the eyes of the story’s supporter, Sunja.

The book portrays the rooting out family experiencing renowned historical events like Japan’s occupation of Korea and World War II. Pachinko was brought on the small screen by show creator Soo Hugh, The Killing, The Terror who also took action as a writer and executive producer.

Recently, Apple TV+ has confirmed Pachinko will be back soon for season 2. As per the streamer, the new season will start with the unmoving story already officially established, which will still be told in the Korean, Japanese, and English languages.

Hugh expressed her excitement for the future of Pachinko following the show’s renewal declaration. Hugh mentioned:

“Words cannot express my joy in being able to continue telling the extraordinary story of this indomitable family. I’m grateful to the amazing team at Apple and Media Res studio for believing and supporting this show and to our passionate fans who have cheered us on. It’s an honour to be able to continue working with this amazing cast and crew.”

Is Pachinko Based On A True Story? How Much Is Real?

The news of Pachinko being acquired for season 2 is preferably well-timed as the season 1 finale was just released on Apple TV+

The series featuring Korean breakout star Lee Min-ho, as well as Jin Ha, Anna Sawai, and Kaho Minami to name a few, Pachinko is all set for a massive and unique historical-fiction drama series that will be unmissable for the audience.

Season 2 can protect how Hansu secretly helped fund Noa’s education all over college before Noa by chance finds out that Hansu is his biological father and moreover that Hansu has connections to the Yakuza, subsequent to which he rejects not only his family but also his Korean heritage.

Optimistically, the relatively brisk season 2 renewal will persuade more people and create curiosity in the audience for the series and they will check out the show on Apple TV+.

 The new season doesn’t have a release date yet and possibly won’t for a while, so spectators have enough time to stream Pachinko season 1 in the meanwhile.
