Elon Musk mentions the Twitter deal is on hold. It is not explicit if Musk is serious about his tweet or if he is just joking. Elon has been tweeting for the last 20 days, it could mean anything.

Elon Musk may not buy Twitter basically.  The Tesla CEO in his new tweet stated that the $44 billion Twitter deal is on hold. Elon Musk proposed to buy the famous microblogging site in April for $44 billion.

Undoubtedly, Elon and Twitter are in agreement that he plans to purchase Twitter for $44 billion and close the deal in the coming months, there are conjectures that he may abandon the deal.

In his recent tweet, Elon Musk stated that the “Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting the calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5 percent of users.”

Ambiguously, if Elon Musk is serious about his tweet or if he is just making fun. As he has been tweeting for the last 20 days, it could be anything.

The real reason why the speech of spam bots could be fun is that such due rigour is often done before the union and purchase deals are confirmed.

Accordingly, Elon Musk stated that a new report by Reuters, which is depending on Twitter’s financial filing rather than private internal data has led him to put a $44 billion deal on hold.

Further, the news agency report is literally a positive report for Twitter because, contrary to what many expect or feel, less than 5 percent of Twitter users are spam bots, as per the report.

deal on temporary hold over a positive report seems uncanny, or at least a jest. But the entire thing of Elon buying Twitter seems like fun, so we can’t be certain on this matter.

Maybe Elon Musk has actually paused the Twitter deal.

No matter what Elon Musk means by putting the deal on hold, his recent tweet is ready to give rise to the conversation that the deal between Elon and Twitter is not yet done.

There are so many things to be answered yet, including Elon buying Twitter. One report states that Elon Musk, whose first priority is Tesla,

will exit the Twitter deal before concluding it because it has already resulted in Tesla stock getting a beating on the stock market and mixing its wealth with Musk.
