Ryan Dorsey, Rivera’s ex, and the estate filed wrongful death litigation against Ventura County and Lake Piru’s organization in November 2020. Moreover, Naya Rivera had been a series regular on the notable TV series Glee and was the third of such entertainers to die young, which added to significant media interest in happenings when she was found. Lawsuit On Her Death

The family of late Glee star Naya Rivera has arrived at a settlement to end an unjust demise claim over her July 2020 drowning.

The agreement will end a case filmed by Rivera’s ex, Ryan Dorsey, against Ventura County, Calif., in November 2020 for their 6-year-old child, Josey. The suit claimed the district might have forestalled her demise assuming that it had complied with proper safety protocols.

The settlement was officially reported by Josey Hollis Dorsey and the Estate of Naya Rivera’s lawyer, Amjad M. Khan, Partner, Brown, Neri, Smith and Khan LLP. Josey will be genuinely redressed, as per this agreement, for seeing his mom suffocating in Lake Piru, as per Khan. Even though Josey’s mom’s unfavourable passing can never truly be overcome, we are glad that the monetary repayment would help Josey a great deal in continuing from this distress.
