They exchanged vows in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The wedding and celebration took place at Chileno Bay Resorts & Residences, an Auberge Resorts Collection property near their home state of California.
Tika Sumpter Wasn’t Interested In A ‘Destination Wedding.’
She also mentioned how they chose their wedding venue and that she didn’t necessarily want a destination wedding.
“We wanted everyone to have a fantastic time and enjoy this long, amazing journey that we’ve had,” the lovely bride added. I didn’t always want to have a destination wedding.
It was simply something that occurred to me. Anguilla was one of our first visits out of the country, and Mexico has that gorgeous, island vibe, so we thought, “Why not do it in Cabo?”
Tika revealed her favourite aspect of the wedding preparations.
